I want to be a better citizen and Iโd appreciate someone giving me a link or advice where I can purchase the tools this guy suggested.

i tell ya one thing for sure, i want this coating on all the windows of my car when i get one. i'm not planning on living in CCD dependent dystopia for very much longer but i'm just imagining the fun of anyone trying to use electronic devices to capture images of me piloting my commie-mobile niva. put it on the plates as well. oh, we have to go back to manual mechanisms. add spectral paint coating to the car and it looks red in this angle and blue at that angle and what fun it would be if the adversary was depending on cameras
btw, infrared blocking window coatings? that's because i'm driving through the desert lands of kazakhstan and tajikistan, ossifer.
oh yeah, and i totally WANT some sunglasses with this kind of coating. i actually owned some oxy torch grade IR blocking glasses a while back. they appear to be the darkest black sunglasses when photographed by a CCD

for front windshield (must be >75% VLT in most jurisdictions):
sputtered metal oxide coating (spectrally selective, IR-rejecting, high VLT)
nano-ceramic IR absorbing coating (absorbs NIR, transparent in visible)
multilayer dielectric interference coating (reflects NIR/SWIR via thin-film stacks)
indium tin oxide (ITO) coating (conductive, reflects LWIR, used in some automotive glass)
for side/rear windows (can be lower VLT):
dyed polyester film (absorbs visible + NIR, cheapest, least effective)
carbon film (absorbs NIR, matte finish, no signal interference)
sputtered metal film (reflects NIR, thin metal layers, can corrode)
nano-ceramic film (absorbs IR, non-metallic, no signal interference, highest heat rejection per VLT)
the front windshield legal option is essentially limited to nano-ceramic or sputtered metal oxide at >75% VLT. the nano-ceramic is better for signal transparency (no metal to block GPS/satellite/5G). the sputtered metal oxide gives slightly better IR rejection but can interfere with RF.
the distinction between "absorbs" and "reflects" matters for heat: absorbing films re-radiate heat inward over time (the glass gets hot). reflecting films bounce the energy outward. for a desert drive, you want reflective coatings where possible, but the front windshield is limited by VLT requirements.
just be aware that the more unusual it looks, the less effective it is
and by that i also include "under IR dominated CCD imaging"
