Traffic to Manchester was horrible, even though set off earlier.
Was even worse trying to get out on the way home.
Been working from home so long, I forgot how bad traffic made me feel.
First world problems. But eurghh, what a waste of life.
Part of the whole working culture I hated and left many years ago.

I've recently had to get back to commuting every day to my fiat job (where before I was mostly working from almost every day since 2020) and yeah, it's miserable being on the road, and the time it wastes. And it's just frustrating being back in the office and hearing all of these miserable people talk about their lives man... Alhamdulilah, I have a nice job but I can definitely see myself breaking out of this in the not too distant future. The older I get, the less patience I have... I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing 😁
I hear you bro. My patience for certain things has vanished (like traffic 😂).
But that’s the cycle most get trapped in…miserable commute to work, then get surrounded by miserable people at work, and then miserable commute back home. Too miserable to do anything in the evening.
Mashallah you’ve got a lot of knowledge, passion and a varied skillset. Can see you breaking out and doing your own thing.
