I read a few good reports from experimental introduction. I heard positive talks from Guy Standing. Personally, I think this can be anywhere from very good to very bad, depending on how deceptive/negligent they are with the risks/rules necessary to implement it correctly. (Except for the one mention of a report on fedi a few days ago, I didn't keep up to date at all.)

Can't work. Doesn't make sense.
Not disagreeing with you. But playing devils advocate what if it’s good for the USD and btc. Nations with weaker currencies start printing more free money to lower class and they use to buy btc or usd. Yes it will destroy weaker curriencies but could make the lives of Americans and bitcoiners better. 😂
Impossible. The society with tear itself apart due to no one producing the goods which the money would be used to purchase. Either the startup costs world be too high with hard money, or the fiat currency will crash in value when it's printed into oblivion in addition to the problems fiat currency already has.

@Lyn Alden is in my head telling me to steel-man the benefits of UBI in order to dunk on how stupid it is even harder 😂

UBI, when it happens in the US, will be so botched and shitty ( not that it cam be done right) as it will come from some of the lowest IQ people with way too much power that genuinely think it will add GDP or some belief it has a multiplier effect on the economy like some total idiots and it will destroy all price discovery. It will be the point when the apocalypse rollercoaster finishes its ascent and starts downhill, shit will get crazy imo.

Damn dude you need to ride like 50 simultaneous bikes to make that economical 😂
$boost I don't know if it's good or bad. But I think it's inevitable. We can't even manage to assure hard-working people a decent living #wage. So some are just #stealing and #robbing to make up the difference. And I can hear the dumbasses saying. "Well, we'll just lock them up and throw away the key". Hopefully they'll put that on your gravestone when they shoot you in the head lol. I mostly worry about people's overdependence on any system. Because they're all corrupted. Just look at the #covid pandemic. First they #poison you with man-made #bioweapons. Then they mass #murder you with so-called #covid #vaccines and medications. Turns out they've been doing this kind of #shit to you for decades. Over #vaccinating you and your #children. Mass #murdering you and your children. All with YOUR! governments full support and help. This is among the many reasons why Bitcoin is so important. It can enable a measure of Independence for those that want it. While those that want to be sheeple can bask in the sunshine of their delusions. Until it's time for their slaughter to feed the rich and privileged lol..🐑🐑🐑🗡️💀👺👹🤡🌈🤑💰💸💊💉 #covid #vaccines #mRNA #DNA #genetic #death
No thoughts because I don’t know how bad things will have gotten to usher it in, but as a technologist, it will happen within my lifetime due to the immense job loss due to AI and the class of workers it will displace can’t reskill because parallel industry will have been disrupted.
what is money? money is how we organize society and exchange our time and labor for things. if we are "given" all our money from the government, that means they would need to either take it from other people with theft, or- the money they give you would be worthless and not representative of any time or labor.
ok if you just use it to reduce government: pay for it only with the money were using now to pay government employes and government programs

Money for nothing...
There is no realistic way to pull it off unless you end walfare and replace it with UBI and then, what's the difference?
Same thoughts as on any form of theft. That said when they do it, it will be the same as any other 'monetary policy'; things will get worse and money will be worth less.
