The #AUStriches state I just left is banning machetes because the Africans they imported are wreaking havoc and they keep letting them out on bail to reoffend. Where I live now in Vietnam a guy rides around on a motorbike with a speaker blaring “Sharpen your knives, sharpen your scissors, rehandle your knives” and you can go outside and buy a machete off him or take your blunt knives and he’ll make them razor sharp for you for a dollarydoo 😂 Somehow I don’t think banning machetes is going to solve anything.

It’s all over Melbourne now. The Africans used to be confined to the West but there’s so many of them they’re in the North and South East (Dandenong through Cranbourne and Frankston is bad) too.

well I'll be moving to Melbourne soon most likely. Looking to live around Brunswick East area or any of those just East of the city. Hope I don't come across them much

The typical government approach. Not thinking through, not asking other people with knowledge about this, because they are the "problem solvers". Instead they are the problem creators.

You’ll be on the border, they’re in the cheaper areas a bit further north so you should be ok. When they venture into the more civilised parts it’s typically to steal cars and rob homes (with machetes). Had a neighbour 3 houses away had their Porsche Cayenne stolen out of the driveway about 6 months ago - usual suspects caught on CCTV

do the typical hipsters that live around there think its a conspiracy theory that africans are doing this in substantial numbers? Or they know but they just keep their mouths shut to not sound racist?

I’ve not crossed paths much with that hipster class since Covid so couldn’t say.
