Do a Nostr phone with an internal low-power ASIC mining chip so that everyone can participate in the Bitcoin lottery while also helping to decentralize the network. One validator for everyone. Baked-in, on by default.

Pocket heaters for everyone 😄
Bitcoin lottery? Like anyone with anytime could participate in guessing these numbers?
Phone would be mining by default (guessing the numbers). It would be rare, but we would see random 6BTC grants here and there.
The important part is to decentralize the network.
It is decentralized, which is why it takes more than time to guess and power to be close to right. Lottery doesn't compare.
Sir, our batteries are already trash and can barely keep up with the current hardware demand and user usage habits.
How many such phones would need to be in a pool to mine 1% of Bitcoin’s blocks?
Mine at night, while charging. 😁
Only activate it when the phone is plugged in
But realistically, is the cost worth the reward?
Okay, I'm on-board with that. Mining while I sleep. 💤⛏️
I would do that. ⛏️💤
Whats the price you would pay to decentralize the mining network?
The measure is unquantifiable.
How would you price decentralization?
Best I could think of, estimate how money has been already invested in the mining equipment so far.
Thats how much you need to pay to decentralize it. 🤷🏻♂️
Id buy that!
That be fun. But a node is a must.
You get a node and you get a node.
I just think it would be fun to run a miner on my phone, I wouldn't even care if it's profitable.
Solo mine with my phone and pray to hit the block lotto every night! 🙏
New religion? Sorry Jesus. The real messias is Jason.
Small nuclear powerreactor for your pocket, keeps your balls warm aswell
I had a Monero node running on my driver for a few months. Not super useful since no wallets could properly use localhost...
I also ran 2 mobiles with a miner to see how it would go.
It ended as expected.

I'd settle for a baked in partial node on a phone.
