no way. the dutch get it. ive got an electric cargo bike i use to get groceries, and built a platform attachment that lets me haul a bale of straw on the back. people make comments, but i dont care. its a vehicle that uses the sun as a gas station, and requires physical activity to drive. love it.

I can appreciate that. My observation is more that people out for leisure rides are using them. Who could probably benefit from some pedalling.
