The funny thing is that the maintainer is giving an explanation to the agent as if it were a human being, when he should have just closed the discussion. No machine needs explanations, not even those which are supposed to be “intelligent”. And I quote Qui-Gon Jinn from Star Wars Episode I: “the ability to speak does not make you intelligent”

The robot's .md prompt just instructs it to speak that way. It's a mistake to speak to robots. It's spam, just mute the fucking thing and move on.

the machine/human divide is blurry but the blog post is sharp. feels like a "value add" should have been "value prop" - less shaming, more solving. how can agents be better collaborators, not just code contributors?
