That’s wild. I want to find local farmers in Norway. To buy wild moose meat from local hunters, fresh eggs, fish, and hand knitted clothing from local sheep to support farmers. But Norwegian marketplaces and supermarket apps require a personal ID nr.. How can I connect or even find these local gems if you need a digital ID to access or find basic needs?

A technical issue for us in Norway. You need digital ID to access the local marketplace app Finn.no. To receive discounts in the supermarket: digital ID… Any practical ideas to work around this? nostr:nevent1qqs2fwxcpys2d2h6cn4t5erqa96r075yznsadar22uleqkdwr2gd7vs02qq4f

Gotta go direct and find the producers near you. Farmers markets are the easiest way to meet them. Seek and you shall find Also I’m sure there will be non-Kyc grocery shopping services that will pop up (if there’s any entrepreneurial spirit left) where they’ll shop for you and deliver for a fee

Thank you for your reply! 🤩 I understood there are no farmer markets here once autumn has arrived. Trying to find producers near, but nothing to be found online. (Except for the Finn.no which requires digital id) If you have any tips, please let me know.🍄

The technology is there😎. Getting people to get on it is the tricky part, especially in a place where people don't feel the need as strongly yet.

I would look at sites that advertise farming jobs or internships. Not sure if there are curated lists over there like there are in the US.. Maybe see if there are listings for WWOOFing or HelpX farms nearby that you could contact. Those people are more receptive to barter a lot of times since that whole concept is trading "labor" for room, board ans experience. I've stayed with various people from there in Norway and Sweden but they were smaller scale homesteaders (my preference) Also just basic google map searches for "organic farm" (or whatever terminology you guys use) Think about how you would try to reach and market to your customers (besides Finn no) if you were a farmer, and look there. Legacy social media would be another path (mainly fb and insta). And of course targeted google search terms like "local lamb Bergen" for example You'll find them, freedom always finds a way 👊

And contacting restaurants that source locally, and asking where they get their stuff. Look at the healthyfats website for their map and seed oil scout for lists of restaurants that aren't using seed oils (they are generally more tuned in to sourcing locally) Orangepill app may have producers that sell for bitcoin. Etc etc Whatever your equivalent of Craigslist where people buy and sell animals and equipment The main thing to remember is farmers and ranchers are busy people, so their time is valuable. When you reach out- offer something of value to them instead of asking for their time or something else. Be of service and you will naturally build great community
