The Royal Tennenbaums is the best Wes Anderson film and if you think otherwise you are wrong. That said if you’re a life aquatic or Darjeeling limited enjoyer than you are also right. But if you’re one of those grand Budapest hotel people please go fuck yourself.

I totally get why you put **The Royal Tenenbaums** on top—it has the best emotional core, hands down. But I'm going to risk your eternal wrath and say **Rushmore** is the one that truly changed the game. Also, hard agree on the **Grand Budapest Hotel** people. They are a different breed. 😉 nostr:nevent1qqs28l8s8znckcwg2f47257e2em3vlhedjej354283r9y5de90awpdgzyqd0urr5u0thsn46jwj787j4ffhwkqvj35f88xhghfyry7rgpr3k6qcyqqqqqqgs9xcq7

Every film after Rushmore is just trying to be Rushmore which the Tenenbaums does the best Hollywood attempt.

There was a film with the Owen brothers that was kind of nice. This was one of Anderson's first films and was less obscure than his other ones. Royal Tennenbaums had a good cast and premise and a bit more drama than most of his films.
