Jesus did the proof of work. He suffered and died for sins he didn’t commit in order to defeat death and redeem us to God. He said on the cross, “It is finished.” Now he is seated on his throne at the right hand of God until the Almighty destroys his enemies, humiliating them by crushing them beneath the Lord’s feet. Gotta love it.
