We are working on better feeds and an improved onboarding process that doesn’t make new users auto-follow a bunch of accounts by surprise. Those two features are related.

tbf, X suffers the same problem and adds wonton censorship. hard problem to solve. tiktok has the bedt algo by far, but it's a different platform and media format altogether. I'm new on Nostr. Hoping to connect with more Bitcoiners and cypherpunks.
Algorithms would be so beneficial (to humanity) if they were implemented with integrity and transparency, which will never happen with Big Tech. Here, anything's possible.
The option to have no algorithm would also be appreciated. Some of us just want to see a descending time ordered list of posts from those we follow (incl. their reposts) 👍

Yes, for sure. Those are "Latest" and "Latest with Replies" feeds, which will always be there.

Logical question: If followship is primary, why is there a 'like' button at the bottom of every post, but not a 'follow' button?
