the biggest irony of the ‘defund bitcoin devs’ argument is that luke is the most funded image

Wow, such a dishonoust statement... none of that funding was for PRs, it was to fund the firstand only decentralized mining platform. So citrea funding adds to the core boys' total too? Unfollowed!
No one should get funded. It should be coming out of the goodness of their heart. Did satoshi ask for funding You guys all larp. Period. Fund my lifestyle. Hahhaha wait till the hood adopts bitcoin and see who we fund. Hahaha stop playing wit me.
i do not know of any protocol devs that received funding from citrea, and i know for sure none of them cofounded citrea. if your goal is to have all protocol devs launch vc funded businesses then be honest about it.
Lmaol, my point obviously is that you count ocean's funding as luke's personal gain, where ocean is a very much selfless project purely for the increase of decentralization in mining (super much needed for bitcoin to succeed), while on the other hand you dont see citrea funding as a personal gain for the co-founding core devs eventhough it is a much more for profit enterprise than ocean is.... Super dissappointed in u bro.
Exactly! I’m sick and tired of this. You ask for funding? Fine, show what have you done to deserve it. I bet there are a bunch of hungry computer scientists ready to code whatever you tell them to and they won’t care not one bit about long term implications to Bitcoin. They won’t ask who’s giving the money and what their motivations are, as long grants keep flowing.
The developers should live off their satoshis as its purchasing power increases. This would make it easier for people to contribute to software development.
It's like they think they know the history of money, but they don't cause they keep asking for it. You keep asking for my money, you're gonna have to do what I want You to do. stop playing With Me.
I hope now everyone sees what a spam apologist you are Odell. Disingenuous statements like this one is why your side never had the moral high ground.
ocean is a great project, sorely needed, and i appreciate luke and his team citrea is garbage and investors in that company are idiots it is not a selfless project raising $6m+ in seed funding is proof
It seems like you also started suffering with the @Luke Dashjr derangement syndrome...!!! I don't know how you missed the difference between Luke getting funding for @OCEAN and Luke getting funding for Knots. I am not sure if I remember correctly but he said in the past that he doesn't need funding for Knots but other knots devs (who are not compromised & commie) might need funding.
What in strawman hell is this? I've never said to defund them, I'm saying Bitcoiners need to stop using Core as it's obviously compromised.
Aren't you referring to Saylor's sentiment a year ago? There's almost zero overlap between the Saylor fanboys and the sentiment against Core due to their spam-maxing. I'm going off of what you wrote here and your other post where people are accusing you of having lied about Saylor saying that which I don't believe you did.

Its wild! Even people who generally make very good arguments become completely different people using the most underhanded tactics
no spite calling out logical inconsistencies by the many people who are calling for all bitcoin devs to be defunded
Bitcoin is full of "Agent Smith" image ht @Cyph3rp9nk

You must understand that the Bitcoin community is full of agents Smith from the system. Do you think the system will be easily defeated? Or do you think Bitcoin is guaranteed to succeed? When you see comments from certain developers and influencers, look at them through that lens and you may see things differently. Everything is compromised, right from the start, but you have to live with it and keep fighting, but don't be naive.

Would be great hearing you and @HODL discussing this 🙏🏻 Keep in mind that the Core side almost never emphasises the importance of decentralised nodes…

BTC's dominance over other cryptos is 100% a social, not technological, effect. That effect will wear off, but when? Not likely anytime soon as it is being co-opted by the trad-fi community. Which is fine as long as the truth is told. But the Bitcoin that will equalize mankind is not #BTC. Maybe it's #Monero, or #Litecoin, or #BitcoinCash, who knows? But BTC is knees deep in the custodial world.
