You can't unless they were to use the client tag (which I don't think primal sets). Lots of people have primal nip05's and use the primal relay without actually using primal.

why did you get shadowbanned? maybe because you dont have a nip05?, or your username is same as a banned spammer’s username?

My associates can see my replies if they search for my profile or follow me, but in threads, my replies to others don't appear.
How can I filter out all posts that come from primal users in #Amethyst and such?
Primal is exactly like X in shadow banning aspect, and the sheeple using it are fools to think that primal or even nostr is some uncensored platform.👎💩

amethyst is banning users, too, by default. Make sure to adjust the settings.
How did you work out you are shadowbanned?
Don't retaliate against me please, I used to be in your position and today the Primal Android app won't load anything for me at all despite me being a Primal "Legends" subscriber (which I had to subscribe to in order to get them to stop hiding all my notes from everyone)

Knowing "you're you" is what your npub is for.
NIP-05 is not "important" for any user who isn't a wannabe influencer or a nostrich.house spambot.
NIP-05 is a cringy kludge that piggybacks on (centralised) DNS to "authoritatively" verify npubs. Something npubs can do themselves, far more securely.

All I’m saying is, if someone is trying to impersonate some one and primal requires a nip-05 for their centralized caching server then it would be important to add that to your npub so that the service can “verify” you in some capacity.
It helps with reach in that case; and lookup for npubs. Which is what the OP wants reach and doesn’t want shadowban from centralized cache servers; best to control your own domain and use the nip-05
i agree, i think nip05 is important if many accounts have the same as your username, ie 'dan' or 'sms' which dan? oh dan[at]primal or sms[at]iris, its easier to remember than npubs

Primal devs have already acknowledged that they have a list of npubs "prevented from trending", shadowbanning is only a single step further down that path...

I don’t know if they require nip-05 or if they only promote their own atPrimalDotNet domain. I deleted their app a while ago, with them supporting blossom now I am even removing all my media from their server.

The OP of the note that did, said that she had to switch to Damus to see my replies to that thread.
My associates confirmed that unless they follow me, they couldn't see my replies in that thread at all on Primal app.

Post a reply to threads of primal users that don't follow you.
Then ask someone on primal who doesn't follow you to check whether they see your replies in that thread using the primal app, and without searching for your npub in particular.

If you nadar your notes, you might find as I did that your notes are reaching no more than 5% of queried relays.
It's a much more widespread issue than primal being a Twatter of nostr.
It's becoming clear that nostr is for some reason being hyped as something it isn't and can't be, much like #Bitcoin was as "digital cash", " free, uncensorable, decentralised medium of exchange ", et cetera.🤔

To me it looks like you're only connected to 3 relays. I can see this reply on 2 of them though theforest relay shows it as missing. This is a private relay so either you're not whitelisted or it might be sending back missing to my query since I'm not whitelisted either. Gossip will discover and broadcast to other relays but you shouldn't expect it to broadcast too far if you're not connected to many relays and don't have influencer level follower count.
I'm not retaliating against other nostr users.
I'm just trying to get the hypocrites that operate primal.net out of my "uncensorable" , "decentralised" 🙃 nostr feed, because what goes about should always come about...
That's the essense of justice and fairness!
Amethyst uses 2 controversial methods to censor „spam“. The first is a rough match against a user’s behavior. The second is to look at the users that you follow. How often do they mute a specific user and how often do they follow him. Based on that that user’s posts will be hidden from you. Both methods work independently. Triggering one is enough.
I don’t use that app, but their users claim there are options that they have to switch these off.

Seems just one should actually be enough, if nostr works as advertised.🤔
If its gossip protocol doesn't propagate to all nostr relays eventually, then it's just a network of silos we have in other social media now.👎
