Fold Card will implement this before Strike
This would/will be great. You can do this now on Fold (and have a routing and account number…the conversions for bill pay are not automatic but easy to “push” to your account when making payments).
They’re solid. The original premise of buying gift cards to stack BTC never resonated with me, but the financial services side creating more layers/tools to use BTC as your base $ definitely does.
How about a Strike Rewards Credit or Debit card that pays more than Fold’s .75% BTC ??? @jack mallers
why? there are credit cards that give you 2%-3% on everything. why not use that and use Strike for BillPay?

The challenge is that you pay capital gains when BTC is converted to Fiat or to pay bills. Also Taxes are complicated if you import BTC to strike from another exchange if you’ve been DCA’ing
if you are paying taxes that means you made money. it’s far better to pay taxes on a capital gain than not have made anything at all
