Type words you don’t wanna see notes containing those words? It’s already done bro. But who cares about nostr.kiwi. Probably nothing. @HoloKat image

I’ll pay 1m sats bounty to first client to add functional mute lists. Behavior: settings > filtering Mute lists Type words you don’t want to see notes for. If a note contains that word, don’t show it. Must also apply to quoted notes (muted word is not within the note that’s quoting the note with that word). And should apply to reposts. Basically, if it’s on the list, I never want to see it. 250k sats to next 4 clients who implement it as well (limit 1m sats total)

Isn’t it a community client?

Fair enough. Now it’s been said. I’m not going to do free handouts unless some work has been done 😂
To be fair to @Jingles , the work has been done, but not in the client that you want/need. There is nothing wrong with that, and I am with you on this one. I wouldn’t pay bounty for Amethyst unless it serves my selfish needs, so can’t disagree with you. 🐶🐾🫂🫡

If zapstream implements mute lists it’s of no use to me because I don’t use it for kind 1 notes. As far as I’m aware kiwi is community focused - not what I need. I can’t be expected to know what some new client has done. Has to be one of the ones that works decent and has a decent feature set. I’m open to trying nostrudel!

That would be nice as Damus is my daily driver but I wanted it to be fair to other kind 1 clients that are somewhat competitive.
This is why I called for a more uniform way of posting bounties last week. We need clear deliverables, user stories, timelines, etc. Otherwise devs will get frustrated when bounties don’t get paid out. View quoted note →

Not a handout system but to incentivize new work. This will be my last bounty as this experience trying to explain what should be obvious has been tiring.
bearish on bounties due to the endless amount of conditions you have to list. creator wastes their time creating something in the grey are and the poster of the bounty gets his hand forced, because ‘technically’ the solution is correct. maybe there’s should be revision + consultancy thing included, idk 🤔
It’ll probably be better to just have “contracts” and have people apply and pre-agree to the conditions. Writing the software specs is hard, but if two people agree on what and how it should be done, there will be much less room for dispute 🐶🐾🫡
