Congratulations! I have been heading to the opposite direction, so you are free to ignore my comments… But I don’t think you can really convert fat into muscle. The reason why bodybuilders bulk between competitions is this: it’s easier to build muscle when you are not ‘too careful’ with calories. They burn the fat before the competition. Fat and muscle are two completely different tissues. One doesn’t “convert” into the other, but both can change at the same time: With the right training stimulus (progressive overload, enough intensity), your body builds muscle mass. With a proper diet (caloric balance, protein intake) and activity, your body uses fats and energy source. That’s why in 5 months you can look leaner and more muscular even with almost the same body weight... you lost fat and gained muscle simultaneously. So yes, fat can’t “turn into” muscle, but you can replace fat on your body with newly built muscle, which is what clearly happened here. 💪🔥
