I’d pay for a service/software stack that allows you to deploy lightning network liquidity in a self-custodial way that can generate “yield.” Something that intelligently manages liquidity and with whom to open lightning channels with to maximize fees. I think it would be great to deploy some cold-storage in a self custodial manner for a few extra sats per month.

Yeah I'm surprised this hasn't been invented yet, I thought this would be one of the driving forces for lightning adoption...
Interesting idea 💡 I’ll look into it. AI can manage all the channels and its aim is to make you sats.
In the right circumstances, I think a lot of people, including myself, would consider a profit sharing arrangement where the capital allocator maintains full custody over the funds but shares in the sat-revenue with the person who helps manage channels and provide guidance re: how to open channels with the right people to make the healthiest channel infrastructure.

Jam + yield generator
I think it would be pretty hard to build what you are describing for a number of reasons without having access to a relatively large stack and/or an existing payments volume that you could translate into reliable yield via routing. @Amboss have been working on a service called Rails that aimed to do this. I haven’t used the product but I’m sure @Jestopher could give you a rundown.
Thanks for the mention! It exists and it works. We've learned that the demand for yield in this manner far outpaces the people ready to start doing lightning payments, which means that capital can be extremely well allocated, but still be low yielding. Deploying to lightning is not free, so positive returns are not guaranteed. That said, we've deployed 66 BTC to date and are returning between 0.6% to 1.5% APY on self custody bitcoin.
