Look, humor is fine. But when the joke requires you to fundamentally misunderstand who Jesus was and what He accomplished, it stops being funny and starts being propaganda of a different sort. Jesus wasn’t an agent of earthly powers. He was and is the King of kings, and every knee will bow to Him, including Caesar’s and every CIA director who ever lived.

I have a very weird sense of humor. We forget we're sponges & learn even what we don't want to. Comedy is dis-arming. It is because of that a lot of anti-moral values succeeded greatly at being accepted into society in general. Folks who were super anti-XYZ, became pro-XYZ the moment they were made laugh about it with a "lighthearted" joke. It's quite a fine line. Discernment needs constant connection to the word of God for one to develop enough chaps to go... image
I think this is funny, because it highlights the ridiculous conclusions that you come to if you only interpret data through a single lense. If you only look for CIA involvement everywhere you look you will always find some points that you can use to justify your conclusion, while ignoring any counter evidence. Ironically the two primary Jewish schools of thought at the time of Jesu's life suffered from the same problem. The Pharisees were so focused on fulfillling their laws and the Sadducees were so focused on their temple cult and political meddling that they did not see Jesus for who he was. Even though they could witness his miracles they decided to kill him. The law and temple cult were good things, but because they made them the sole focus of their worldview, they were unable to process data that did not fit that framework. We can learn from these mistakes and develop an awareness for the limitations of our worldview.
We are all Pandora's boxes waiting for the unsuspected opener of the box at one point or another. I am guessing you may have a blog or some outlet where you share your views beyond NOSTR? Cuz eloquence doesn't come easy. I am not as good as grasping things as I used to be, & saying stuff is hard because I tend to over-explain. Lacking confidence on self-expression is just another side-effect of CPTSD. But I hope to learn how to express myself more concisely because I do know we all have short lives to live & we must all try make the best of them! I'm working on building my little website with Canva, and as fun as it can be, it also gets tiring when I read & re-read what I've written, & then?? I erase it all to start again! *SMH*
