If you want stories: John Steinbeck
Light pieces: Tortilla Flat, The Wayward Bus
Heavier stuff: The Grapes of Wrath (Pulitzer Prize for this one)
If you want philosophy: Søren Kierkegaard
Only read one thing so far, The Sickness unto Death, and it helped me through some serious existential crisis. (I recommend to search for some interpretations, youtube videos will do, since it‘s written in classic philosophy language which is not easy to grasp)
If you want something practical: nostr:nprofile1qqsd4dkxqewy8xum47ctpu0ltgxxsfemeewpjkdyzk9ddfcg286s0dspzdmhxue69uhk7enxvd5xz6tw9ec82c30qyd8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytn6v43x2er9v5hxxmr0w4jz7jkhgq8 wrote a bunch of great books, for example Cryptocurrencies – Hack your way to a better life
