Court Yard Hounds is a spinoff band from the Dixie Chicks.
This song is a great gentle americana track where everything’s just... tasty.

I like thinking about ways to communicate thoughts visually, but design smartass talks are b o r i n g.
Like dude if you need 30 minutes to explain it‘s not that dope of a design.
I know because I used to do it. 😬
Took me a long time to realize that many conference speakers are selling something.
I’m not saying it’s automatically a shitty thing, but knowing their perspective is important.
Are they rich? Do they have skin in the game? Is there a product or service at the end of their keynote? etc.

I heard countless covers of “Somebody That I Used to Know,” but this one is my favorite. 🤘🏻😁
btw, what Marky Mark does here is really hard - singing like he can’t sing, sounding silly, and yet still capturing the essence of the original.
Bowie, am I right?

Back in scouts we used to play this camp game called Three Eagle Feathers. I always thought it was a terrible pain in the ass, but looking back I love the concept.
Check it - a three day challenge: 24 hours of silence, then 24 hours of fasting, and then 24 hours of total solitude, during which you weren’t allowed to be seen by living soul.
It was a test of self-discipline for boys, but it still feels like a great exercise for grownups.
I miss those scout days, it was all about proof of work alright.
