This is like North Korean propaganda level weird.
The arguments for 110 are enough to stand on their own. I'll never understand why they dig these holes.
Flat earth would be the next step.
💯
WitAF...
It’s crazy. He sounds like a scammer or like he has a mental illness.
So you're with the spam csam scam chain that's proven to be controlled and centralized by about 5 mining pools... sad... you were one of my heroes... oh well... guess we'll both have to watch as the spam chain get's more centralized due to utxo set bloat eventually making it impossible for people like you and me to run nodes... not to mention contentious soft forks being pushed through by the centralized cabal of miners that have to bend the knee to the state...
@FreedomMoneyIsFuture you don’t actually agree with this do you?
I mean this is insane

You are totally brainwashed by the lunatic.
Point of Bitcoin is separating money from state, instead of working on it, you go and create a shitcoin that no one will use and will be easily controlled by 1 person.
What do you think of Core? Are you running Core v30+? Never mind, nodes don't matter when miners are centralized.

I ran knots actually
Good luck getting a clear answer. All they do is deflect, lie, twist words and definitions. Very manipulative. I just mute them when they reply with such nonsense.
Sounds absolutely insane. He’s gaslighting himself 😂
It’s wild 😂 He’s gotta be intentionally scamming people or actually mentally ill.
Maybe both 🤭
We are all different people. Each one has their own set of reasons to do one thing or another. Luke sees the things in this way and expresses it.
I think Bitcoin-Blake2b would be good for Bitcoin because if Core fucks up real bad, people will have an option.
Bitcoin Knots have been less than 1% for more than a decade and during a critical moment became a needed alternative.
💯😂
Kinda hard to seperate money and state when the future of the network is decided by 5 mining pools that are subject to the state instead of 17,000 node runners who could care less about the state. Good luck preventing state level attacks at this point and ideas from guys like this.

And I thought Carvalho was a little off.
But people like you need to call out Luke for what he’s doing.
You could have agreed with knots, even the anti spam, even BIP 110 but this behavior now needs to be called out by former supporters for what it is.
Luke has completely lost the plot and is going about this in the worst way possible. He’s even lying. It is a straight up lie and deception to say that the miners are attacking true bitcoin and acting like BIP 110 is the true chain is a flat out lie.
You can’t stand behind someone who is acting like that can you?
I do stand behind BIP 110 idea first.
Second try looking from Luke's perspective.
Nodes / Node runners are the Bitcoin network, miners are suppliers of valid blocks for that network and nodes verify if blocks are valid.
When BIP-110 activated, miners ignored it and their blocks are invalid, BIP-110 nodes reject them. So the BIP-110 network needs new miners. According to Luke that is the real Bitcoin network and I do think that BIP-110 was an improvement in terms of monetary properties and security.
Those are the rules of decentralized network.
In a centralized network, nodes don't matter and no one needs to run a node. Its all up to the miners.
Shitcoin chain poetry slam
Okay now this is getting ridiculous. Is he trolling or gaslighting or both?
What I don’t understand is that if BIP110 was going to be only for a year anyway, why not just spend time looking for another solution and gathering real support for it?

Dude most nodes ignored bip110 so by your logic bip110 nodes are not bitcoin
My only positive thought is that Luke’s entire family…like all 11 children are in a black site and he is being forced to try and destroy bitcoin. So he is acting this retarded to look like he is plausibly trying without actually doing anything but trick the most retarded among us.
That is a lie. There were 0 URSF because when miners are centralized that is not needed as nodes do not matter in a centralized system.
FreedomMoneyIsFuture
20% of the nodes enforced BIP-110, 55% did not care but also did not like Core v30+ but all the rest of the 80% accepted the fork because it was soft fork.
There was no URSF, no one node was against it because, as we learnt, the miners are your master who in terms are controlled by the big government and blackrock.

Making profits in the cryptocurrency market can give you more financial freedom. 📈 I recently withdrew $150,000 in profits, and today I withdrew another $20,000. I’m an experienced trader, and with the right guidance and proper risk management, you can improve your trading approach too. Check my bio and send me a message for more details. 💰
That’s not how any of this works. Had 80% of the nodes and 80% of the social consensus signaled for bip 110, and a lot more miners had switched to ocean you might have an argument, but it’s my right to not do a god damn thing and let as stupid idea die.
Turns out me doing nothing was all I needed to do to watch this retardation crash and burn.
Good news you have a shitcoin fork now using a hashing algo handpicked by Luke and likely to get mogged by a bunch of the desperate sia coin miners who have been wondering wtf they were going to do with their worthless asics.
Then we agree its a good news that BIP-110 is going to hard fork.
Yeah, you love to see it. I’m glad you guys can do what ever you want. I always thought a softfork rushed through with such a pitifully low activation threshold was inappropriate and that the best thing to do would be to fork off cleanly.
Had Luke been less retarded this would have been the move and you could have kept your asics functional but here it is.
Well, I do think that BIP-110 acted as a great and needed revelation of what the state of Bitcoin is.
I think people should have kept running knots and filtering out op return if they felt like it.
Bip110 was not going to fix bitcoin and didn’t have the majority supporting it.
At this point luke sounds so unhinged I don’t think there is anything he can do but take all of you down with him which makes me sad.
It is an alternative. It will be small and tiny but an alternative. Every Bitcoiner hopes that Core do not completely fuck up but things are not looking good. Epstein. Centralized miners. Saylor and BlackRock fiat maxis. Tons of spammers and scammers
Who is funding & building spam on Bitcoin?
An opinion map of the VC money behind ordinals, runes, tokens and other non-monetary Bitcoin projects.
With that level of brazen disregard for reality and logic, he sounds like he should be a speechwriter for some politician, or a reporter. He'd fit right in 😂
I wish you the best of luck. I think you will need it based on Luke’s increasingly delusional behavior since the weekend. I realize he has always been a bit of a religious fanatic and kook but I think he has leveled up.
I don’t agree with your assent of the situation. I will say if there is anyone I think is suspect of being involved with the darkness of humanity it is Matthew kratter. Anyone that connected to peter Theil smells of degeneracy.
So Citrea and SLopp too.

Luke is leading you people in the wrong direction.
A new shitcoin isn't going to change anything.
North Korean propaganda makes sense compared to this.
Luke and BIP110ers deny reality. It's sad to see.
He went full retard, never go full retard.
He's living a hard-fork life!
“When BIP-110 activated, miners ignored it and their blocks are invalid”
That’s the problem. Right there. Ignoring a change being forced upon you is not an attack. Also, bowing to a tiny percentage who say “if you don’t adopt this you’re wrong” would not be decentralized at all.
Miners ignored it because it’s irrelevant. And most bitcoiners ignored it too.
delulu
In a decentralized network where nodes matter you need to do it via URSF.
In a centralized network where nodes do not matter, miner can just ignore it. 5 big miners make more than 90% if the hash rate and they were all in agreement about the BIP which would be strange for decentralized network but not strange for centralized one.
Apparently he has lost his mind.
“In a decentralized network where nodes matter you need to …”
That is the problem though. We don’t have to do anything - we CAN just ignore it if we want to. That’s how decentralization actually works.
I don’t run Core. I didn’t run BIP 110. I run the node how I want and to expect that I have to play by a BIPs made up rules is insulting.
In a decentralized network you don’t get to tell people what they have to do
Wish I had this confidence about literally anything
Ursula von der Leyen likes that communist shit.
Everyone should run their node however they want to.
But when there is a change in a decentralized network a participant can ignore a change, actively enforce a change or actively reject a change.
If the change is a soft fork, those who ignore it actually accept the change. We speak about the nodes here.
We non-BIP110 node runners do care. We just don't like how BIP110 was pushed on everyone by an extreme, reckless minority. If you had consensus, miners wouldn't be able to resist.
Ironically and unfortunately, you guys leaving gives those 5 miners (and Core) more power.
You are just regurgitating talking points that mean nothing.
1. 70% of the “17,000” nodes are spun up from the same IP.
2. Not only did you fail to convince the miners, you failed to convince other node runners, exchanges, infrastructure providers, and businesses that BIP110 is a good idea.
3. You keep thinking “WE” control the network and we can force our way.
NO YOU DON’T.
Bitcoin is owned by millions of people and a few thousand ideologically aligned individuals cannot just hijack it.
4. 5 mining pools are made of sovereign individual hashers that can and do leave if miners start acting up and enforce policies that they disagree with.
5. Node runners are ultimately the enforcers of the network; if 51% of the node runners refused to validate blocks made by these miners, then they would have wasted energy and money.
Not only did you fail miserably, but now you dug a bigger hole by launching a shitcoin.
Good luck.
So you have no qualms about low signaling rates so long as no more one deigns to create a URSF?
if I propose a soft fork and signal my node for it, I expect exactly no one to care, acknowledge or respond. I would also know that there is no reason the miners should listen to a single node.
It would then be rather silly for me to then speak as the “morally justified” and “technically correct” individual and suggest that in a decentralized system one active voice gets to trump hundreds of silent ones. Silence that is logically best understood as a vote for status quo, not actively supporting whimsical changes.
I wish miners had changed their configs to signal URSF just to make it more clear, but failing to signal for BIP-110, something that would have affected their fee structure, should logically be best interpreted as a rejection, at least more so than a vote for. If you can’t admit that then I don’t think we can communicate effectively.
Also, why should they change their mining config to signal when it would take work or misconfiguring it could cause them to make an invalid block? Again, it if were more contentious, node signaling had been closer to 50-50 and more plebs were on board I’m sure we would have had it
Illuminati 😂
Means enlightenments, no?!
In the dark we live
Then whether the told you so is something that your ass would remember ain’t the illumination we need, is it?
Is your point that Bitcoin is decentralized? And that in this case the consensus decided to ignore BIP-110?
Ocean mining both chains proved its a good design offering sovereignty to miners and providing decentralization.
The rest of the miners were lobbied into submission. That is why all of them acted in the same way. In a centralized mining network, node do not matter.
There we agree, but i think if 110 signaling on nodes was more unanimous >>50% (or even just close to that) then miners would fear nodes/users not validating and then feel pressure. We never saw that because signaling at a node level was tiny and so there was no pressure on miners. If they tried to do something proactively users didn’t like I think we would win like in the block size war - the difference here was that miners AND most users preferred the status quo to the proposed alternative, so I don’t think it’s fair to say things like the project is doomed, nodes have no power, etc since most nodes likely prefer a non BIP-110 outcome
20% of the network is not tiny but it is what it is.
The end result is that Bitcoin community is fine with big OP_RETURNs, spam, ordinals, jpegs and even csam on the blockchain in unobfuscated form. More inscriptions too, more exploiting Taproot. More shitcoins on top of Bitcoin, like the one Citrea launched. So we will see where this leads.
I know for me that it will be good to have a decent alternative with strong monetary DNA.
the miners have too much control because their defection would be deadly to the chain's cadence. they are easiest to bribe and the protocol is riddled with deliberate vulnerabilities that favor the shitcoinery use case that got slipped in and normalised. witness discount, taproot no witness push limit. and from the beginning, the difficulty adjustment was excessively simple and can't recover from a big hashpower change (the risk of miner defection) and this also means that miners are incentivised to parasite and destroy other sha256 mined chains, which also have weak difficulty adjustments, and the checkpoints that stop private sidechain attacks, which are also not economic with too many deterrents to defection, but a minority fork will fall to this easily, and parasiting competitors is in the interests of the miners.
so if you followed all that, the miners are in control, and the attackers know this which is why they were all going to win big if they didn't switch to bip-110. if it failed, they wouldn't lose revenue.
mining is a cutthroat business, and also favors the bigger players by its burgeoning scale. the only path out of this mess is giving miners a chain to mine on that has equal income prospects and zero chance of being killed by the miners. and all the protocol holes fixed, all deficiencies compensated properly.
