I gave away bitcoin to the children in 2020 and they went nuts. My daughter edited this together from camera roll footage and I paid her $100 in sats on her @Blink – The Everyday Bitcoin Wallet. Picture them as OTC brokers and it makes it even better. Unfortunately these cards are no more a thing, but you can do this with @npub1yn4m...tec0 or @lightsats

"are no more a thing" does that mean that if you still have one around, you can't activate/"mint" (for a lack of better term) it? 😳

Sadly most probably lost the card too! Can you imagine in 50 years: - “When I was a kid someone gave me a handful of sats now worth $50,000 along with Halloween candies, but I lost the card.”

$100 usd how did that work? was it 100$ usd awaiting to be swapped for bitcoin or was it $100 of bitcoin at the time of purchase so it could be more or less at the time of redemption
