From everything I've seen It's the '77 version, not the '97 release. There have been some leaks, and no special edition changes are in them.

Some friends texted me about this today. I don't care the way I used to. It felt strange not caring as much as they did. Also, for the majority of Star Wars' half-century existence, Han didn't shoot first.

For ~50 years Han has shot first, as in the original. For ~30 years there have been two options, since the special editions released with that change. For ~15 years there have been 3 different cuts, since the Blu-ray release changed things further. I've always preferred the original cut, first on the crappy DVD release, then Harmy's despecialized edition, and lately the 4k77 release. It will be nice for people to finally have the option to see the original easily, in theater and at home.
