For ~50 years Han has shot first, as in the original. For ~30 years there have been two options, since the special editions released with that change. For ~15 years there have been 3 different cuts, since the Blu-ray release changed things further.
I've always preferred the original cut, first on the crappy DVD release, then Harmy's despecialized edition, and lately the 4k77 release. It will be nice for people to finally have the option to see the original easily, in theater and at home.
