of course not. none of the commie NGOs do. i have become extremely suspicious of the entire GNU organisation as a whole. linux also, has woke shit in its code of conduct, they literally gagged linus salty mouth.
"and countless other projects"
Are we not keeping it weird enough?!
Statist NGOs like EFF, FSF, et al have lost the plot when it comes to actual freedom tech.
The "no" in "nostr" stands for "no need to mention it"
I still don’t get how anyone can stand to use Mastodon. It’s such an awful experience.
They mention niche stuff like Solid (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solid_(web_decentralization_project) that’s only known because of Tim Berners Lee though.
How often do they mention bitcoin even…
I'm barely hanging on to Linux itself thanks to Pat Volkerding still maintaining Slackware. Once it goes I'm almost certainly headed for one of the BSD's.
The day I see the ACLU actually stand up for gun rights is the day I believe any of these groups have their stated missions in mind. I won't hope my breath.
i've wanted to run bsd forever but i always decide this when i have hardware that is really hard to get working, and is critical. but i would do it in a heartbeat if i could keep my rocm drivers, amdgpu, and someone finally makes a normal fucking removable volume interface lol. that has always been my biggest sticking point with bsd, if i could get it running.
