I'm barely hanging on to Linux itself thanks to Pat Volkerding still maintaining Slackware. Once it goes I'm almost certainly headed for one of the BSD's. The day I see the ACLU actually stand up for gun rights is the day I believe any of these groups have their stated missions in mind. I won't hope my breath.

i've wanted to run bsd forever but i always decide this when i have hardware that is really hard to get working, and is critical. but i would do it in a heartbeat if i could keep my rocm drivers, amdgpu, and someone finally makes a normal fucking removable volume interface lol. that has always been my biggest sticking point with bsd, if i could get it running.
