This is quite interesting. The people of Venezuela know about Bitcoin but USDT and Binance have a lot more mindshare. It is good to look outside of our #Bitcoin bubble every now and then!

I just paid what I owed you. This is a wonderfull research and video that you made. We can see that people basically want US dollars. Mainly because it is much less volatile than bitcoin or the Bolivar. This tells me that bitcoin cannot be a medium of exchange as long as it is very volatile. Bitcoin won't be volatile anymore when we reach 5-10Million / coin and I think it is inevitable that people will prefer it to USD at that point. This tells me that we still need to focus on the store of value side of things before it can be adopted by the masses. Did you tell the woman that had it in 2018 that Bitcoin basically 25X it's value since then ? Also the shitcoins scams are a huge fog for people. Other takeaway is Binance has built a huge network effect. People probably don't understand that they could lose their money if binance goes under. Also they are very vulnerable shitcoin scams on binance. Too bad.

I've been using Bitcoin as medium of exchange for 13 years and I can literally pay everywhere with it. The real problem is that people do not understand money in general. If they did they'd be already using Bitcoin in their daily lives.
