verly addresses a great topic... and having reflected on the week's events, I have to agree with him... a shocking event took place and sadly, most people seemed to instinctively and frantically reach for their red or blue pom poms and start cheering for their teams. My point... the powers that be know us way better than we know ourselves... and we are all being manipulated via "shock induced aggression" tactics. And in crazy times like these, we need to especially focus on "up-down politics" instead of "left-right politics". Otherwise the outcome will only satisfy those at the top. If we are able to change our thinking, and where we focus our attention, we will be better able to deal with the next shock that hits us.
