They realized they couldn’t beat it, so they joined it to subvert it. Bitcoin is now just another commodity who’s fiat denominated price is manipulated by rich people.

Personally, I haven’t found a good reason to go to one of the conferences. I know what I know about Bitcoin and about Nostr. I get daily info about both through Nostr. I don’t see the value in spending sats to go and learn how to save sats.
True, I’d like to meet all of you in person, and hope to do that. So, someday when I’m in your area, or you are in mine, we will meet. Until then I’m stacking sats.

When do the plebs issue local truly decentralized tokens of value? I could bring value.
Not in a technical way, but absolutely in its fiat trading value.
The true message of bitcoin is decentralize.... Not everyone to buy btc... what if plebs in 10,0000 communities issued 10,000 currencies. Could fiat bankers conjure enough fiat to control that rat nest? Long live the most beloved Made Beaver. The resurrected currency from the 1820`s that was the reason for the kings coinage act!
