I think #[0] #[1] should keep the app in the store without zaps while the battle rages.
The more users Damus has the more bargaining power you get.

Thats the plan for now. I will resubmit with zaps in the future since i do not believe i am violating any guidelines

The incentive to use this app is greatly diminished when you can't send or receive zaps. Best to move on to an Android or web client

Are zaps the problem, or is it just wallet connect? As long as we leave the app to continue the payment, maybe that won’t be an issue
Maybe: by pressing on the profile icon of each post author, the app copies the author’s wallet address and the user opens the wallet and zap him

The #nostr protocol is too important. #[4] thank you for all you are doing in this space. #bitcoin fixes so many problems in the digital content distribution space. Apple’s current stance on this exposes the true weakness of legacy tech going into a new era.

I've sold plenty. Blockstream advertises plenty. Friends of mine sell salves, coffee mugs, t-shirts....ebooks, all manner of things. There's no central marketplace right now, but peer to peer sales happen plenty.
If you can get on other IOS apps and post invoices and qr codes to each other, essentially "zapping" each other then Apple will have to enforce those apps too
They already selectively enforce their rules, that may not work. Why not use a system without gatekeepers? Maybe having to ask permission to use a decentralized permissionless communication system is a bad idea?
yeah, personally I wouldn't touch IOS, for some reason there is a large portion of the population that chooses to use a walled off platform. The concept of the zap and lightning invoices is speech. My point is preventing zapps on your platform will be tough as they will need to scan and classify all text on their platforms to effectively stop "zaps" on all of their app's
If people are getting zapped because of cool information they’re posting, technically they’re kind of selling it. Where do you draw the line on what should be able to bring in an earning
