yeah, there is palinka in hungary, rakija in former yugoslavia, grappa in italy, idk what the greeks call it but they have one too. and turkey has raki, which also exists in bulgaria as mastika. there is also various kinds of fruit brandies here in georgia too much the same kind of thing as rakija/rakiya from the balkans. vodka really has the boundary of poland and ukraine and russia
