I feel less inclined to post music updates here because it doesn't involve the letter B and gets little interaction compared with the Fediverse. Maybe if we did all our music about the letter B? You know, like on Sesame Street lol. Not hating, just stating facts. Love you! https://invidious.reallyaweso.me/watch?v=WmVd9F1fW00 #LetterB #Music #Facts

I will be once I get this new release prepped. I was talking more generally, and taking the piss a little lol. Posts with the letter B are very popular round these parts!
Oh bugger, it should be The Count from Sessme Stret singing about the letter B!
I wonder what the B could be 😉 On nostr you have to interact with people, and find, and be noticed by, people with your interests. It's harder to get traction in the beginning, I explore hashtags and Search for terms I'm interested in, to find those people to interact with. In the long run it's worth it because of how open the Nostr Protocol is, and you can own your data like never before.
Cheers! Damn all this time I thought this was the Brian Blessed appreciation club. :(
In fact, we all know that machines are the most efficient in discovering and recommending content. However, engineers who make algorithm recommendations are very expensive. Nostr’s app developers are very poor. It is impossible to find people to complete this job.
Already have some bits on there with my band Liotia and some Hip Hop with Skrufayce plus some older solo bits I think... New EP on the way, that'll be RSS (Fountain etc), Bandcamp, Mirlo and Faircamp only. Won't be on any normie streaming services, unless someone else picks up on it. Very into the whole idea around RSS, Podcasting 2 etc. Trying to learn this with the streaming, still not got it working properly but self hosting, so that's on me. It always broadcasts over regular RSS but the PC2 only works sometimes? Hmm.... Anyway once I get it figured out I can start being an Uncle Jim to local musicians. Unfortunately can't get the On U Sound (my day job) catalogue on there but I'll keep dropping hints to the relevant people. The audience is mostly older vinyl freaks, that's where the lions share of the income comes from. I love what the Boostergram Ball people are doing. I want to start broadcasting live, zappable gigs in my area. With luck that's be up and running in the summer. It's going to be very busy this year and no doubt I'll be on here asking for help as I keep buggering up the tech.
That is not how it works. We do not go with the flow here. We create the flow. Ask @Ainsley Costello about her debut here as her platform. We have communities built by ourselves. We engage and post to whoever is here in the same community. The Catholics I know here are a handful, but I know there are others who I have not interacted with yet. And I keep posting using the hashtags and whatnot. Algorithms do not help us here. Community does.
