What's different about the app now that it is more widely available? I guess my question is focused more on the US. Why is WoS offered in the US now vs. In 2022? I think it was 2022 when it was removed.

For testing purposes, I just sent $1.00 from Cashapp to WoS via Lightning. Instant transfer for FREE!

No more fear of prosecution now there's more regulatory clarity. The Biden admin were gunning for them.

Self-custody but ZERO privacy. Doesn't sound like a good deal.
it's not even 100% guaranteed self custody when the previous owner of your funds can collude with the service provider to steal the money from your wallet. the service provider has to delete their part of the key and they can't prove they are doing that.
I agree that is true, but are you suggesting that didn't change or conform their app in order to meet a requirement by the USG?
In my consulting (to merchants wanting to accept bitcoin) WoS compete with the Blink most often. WoS now improved only in one aspect - self custody. Also has better privacy because does not require phone number. But Blink is better in this: - Much better UI - Stablecoin (not much relevant in North America and Europe) - has great API so: - we can build things around it - many alternative POS on the GitHub covering different needs - @btcpayserver plugin
View quoted note →

Experimentou a @Blitz Wallet ? A Blitz é código aberto, ao contrário da Wallet of Satoshi.
