These things are super hard to run because nobody wants to pay for the bandwidth. If you set it up with honest pricing you'll get 0.1% of potential content creators (or viewers, if you make them pay for the bandwidth) and so no network effect and so no viewers.

Yeah, I know... Yet we need these platforms! I did check out why 3speak is unreliable, turns out the lead dev has abandoned it, found a couple of likely bottlenecks in the code even, can't remember how right now. At least we have Nostr, worst case I'll just anchor everything in posts here with links to several platforms for each item :-)
