Do not put your nsec in clients. Always use a signing application such as Amber or Clave.

Hey Derek, I was thinking about this. Maybe it makes sense that you remove this functionality at all for new installs and offer some migration period for your current users.
Apps should be made in a way to invite good behavior.

I would agree, though asking a non technical user to download and install and use another app just to use this new app that they're trying to use is a bad user experience.
Completely agree! Good UI/UX is really tough to do with security at the forefront!
