Will it be lightning network ready Will?
damus wallet will be non-kyc and work everywhere. If you use the damus wallet, your receive address will be different than your primal one. if primal added NWC support you could use your primal wallet within damus, but I don't think they support that.
we already have a workaround on iOS, this is for all of our clients
we're gonna do sha256(nsec + "providername") for auto-registration. not going to be tied to an npub or anything.
normal custodial is easier for sure the main Cashu gain is better privacy than Monero, interoperability with dozens of mints, and harder to rug individuals — most people would disagree it's not worth the extra complexity but that's of course a personal preference
Yes absolutely ;) happy that damus is getting a wallet in either case, looking forward to it!
Can't wait. Been looking for an alternative to getalby or primal for a while.
Primal doesn’t “skirt” anything. Their wallet is KYC and you can only add funds to it via an in app purchase. If anything, that’s right up Apple’s alley. There are several clients that allow you to connect to whatever wallet you wish and you can fund that wallet however you wish as well, no Apple intervention needed. YakiHonne, as far as I know, is the only client that not only has a built in lightning wallet, but you can use that wallet for external purchases as well, you’re not confined to Nostr, like Pimal. It’s also non KYC. They also don’t need to use workarounds because there’s nothing to work around, LMAO. You’re listening to someone who’s profile says I made this, this and this. Yeah, that’s not a cry for attention or anything. 🤣
