This made me so mad when I realized this but sadly it is still one of the easiest ways to onboard folks who don't know much about btc or nostr.

💯 but there are custodial wallets like @Coinos or @Wallet of Satoshi easy to onboard without the KYC/AML bullshit, people can then upgrade to more sovereign setups when they are comfortable.

Yeah, coinos has been my go to when purplepilling but both these are solid options.
