I think he meant to say “I have yet to put in the time to study this thing. I’m unlikely to anytime soon.” Not seeing a thing does not make a thing unreal.

What problem does it solve? What „problem“ did the internet solve? It’ll open up a new dimension of possibilities and innovations. Time-space compression. Krugman didn’t understand it then, Krugman doesn’t understand it now.
