The New Testament was born in a world where two major currents intersected: Biblical/Jewish tradition One God, creator, personal. History with meaning (creation → covenant → salvation). Hope for a definitive future (Messiah, resurrection, judgment). Greco-Roman world Greek language, philosophical categories of Plato, Aristotle, Stoics. Concepts such as logos (reason, meaning of the universe), soul, virtue, human nature. The New Testament is written in Greek and uses many of these categories. Classic example: the prologue to the Gospel of John (“In the beginning was the Logos”) dialogues de facto with Stoic and Platonic philosophy, but reinterprets it in a Christian key. We all need a moral foundation, but our parents' moral foundation is not always perfect, and the moral foundation of states is corruption. So what will your moral foundation be? That of social media? That of your favorite influencer? My moral foundation is my culture, the New Testament, only adapted to times of war. I am not Jesus Christ; I do not have that capacity to forgive my enemies. nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzpl8hpfzul2qha25p8wd63gm46ufax95lfgnl8h9v84y3zt0k05m7qqspkjnr5dkhgf6ggrsdv3k7jn69lmqvxqngqv9mfmxa2e8tdjcpafspkh5nv

Correct. That is why the original American concept was founded on Christianity. There is no economic system that works without that. Capitalism was giving people this freedom of been self reliant and took away kings and powerful. The experiment is now failing not because of the system but because of the moral background of the actors. A decentralized society based on strong basic morals is the only key to happiness. Unfortunately honey attracts the bears and you cannot standardize morality because it must be a natural choice.

The pseudo-religions of socialism, the welfare state, and collectivism (today refined by ecologism, climate hysteria, and gender equality delusion), which deny transcendent powers, replace them with the self-deification of man. "The self-deification of man," as Röpke states in "Mass und Mitte," "takes the form of the deification of society, which thus becomes the true idol of the masses, and only then does the passionate force inherent in the politicization of existence become comprehensible." This development is progressing unstoppably. What will follow from it was most succinctly formulated by Romano Guardini: "Europe will be Christian, or it will not be at all." - ROLAND BAADER

Correction you’re leaving out the merging of El and Yahweh … The kingdom of Christ is in you … come on now … IF you choose to #BeAChristian then #goallin or #GTFO ⸻ ⚡️ TO “CHRISTIANS” WHO WORSHIP POWER BUT IGNORE CHRIST: ⚡️ Christ wasn’t here to build empires, bless violence, or police morality. Christ came to awaken #CONSCIOUSNESS Before dogma. Before denominations. Before power structures. There was Christ Consciousness: 🕊 Radical compassion 🔥 Sacred rebellion against injustice 💧 Seeing God in all people, not just “believers” ⚖️ Choosing love over domination Yet too many who wear the cross today follow neither El’s wisdom nor Yahweh’s justice — and certainly not Christ’s awakening. They quote scripture… …but lack the I AM awareness behind it. If Christ lives in you, then: • You don’t crave control • You don’t worship conquest • You don’t cheer cruelty • You don’t excuse oppression • You don’t fear truth Christ Consciousness says: “The Kingdom of God is within you — not in your tribe.” You can’t claim Christ while rejecting empathy. You can’t shout salvation while refusing compassion. Religion without consciousness is just tradition with no transformation. 🔥 Christ didn’t die for dogma — ✨ He lived to awaken the I AM inside humanity. #Nostr #ChristConsciousness #IAmAwakened #FaithNotEmpire #SpiritualRebellion #EndReligiousHypocrisy #LoveIsTheLaw #KnowTheChristWithin 🌈

Dude, you are wasting your time, you will never find logic in the Matrix. Religions included. Stop believing the lies that the world and the history are centered around Europe, much less middle east. Stop believing the lies that buddhism is a religion. Ignore the mass movements (Mahayana, vajrayana, zen, etc.) that actually turn it into a religion. Just collect all your patience and watch all 55 series of the Buddha originally aired on Zee TV in 2013. Patience to actually seriously and carefully watch an indian theatrical show with all the styles and features of such. Remember it was not built by Buddha and not for Buddha to watch, and not in an environment without censorship of the Matrix. So expect some compromises for it to have aired at all. It still reveals more than reading any books, listening to monks or priests. Before you take the red pill, you must be aware that there is no way back, and that life outside the Matrix in real life has some similarities to life outside the Matrix as portrayed in the movie. Not directly such as in the movie, but there are things to be disillusioned about. And if you want to understand anything, stop thinking from a perspective that happiness is an objective of anything. Hapiness is one of the features of the matrix. Like many many other things, it does not exist outside the matrix. And it is not bad and not disappointing. You do not need things that do not exist.

Moral foundation in culture or anything else collective :). False. Anything collective is a limitation of freedom and individuality. Think about it. If something in nature is not a single body, it is supposed to operate individually. Collectyvism goes against nature. Evolution, progress are processes that transform existing bodies into new kinds of bodies through pain, and no existing body lives to witness the new end-body that is then integrated in the new version of nature. Do you want to live in the painful transformation for hell knows why, or do you want to live in the existing painless nature? The only kind of collectyvism that is in line with the existing nature is a "friendship" between a man and a wild cat. You can meet sometimes with no advance promisses, you can stroke each other then, you can happen to live nearby sometimes if you both choose so, you can admire each other's looks, sounds, demonstrate your game, even share sometimes. You cannot expect anything, though. Cannot plan. Cannot be in debt. Cannot make compromises. Basically, if your culture says so much as that you cannot walk naked in public, it is bad through and through. If it says there is one god... let's not even go there. If your culture says you should feel anything other than respect to those living differently and not asking anything of you, it is ultra bad. All cultures in the world today are ultra bad. With Theravada buddhist ones being still the least bad of them.

i do agree about strong moral foundations. new testament is not perfect either as evidenced by church corruption, at least, during middle ages and beyond. that path has already been tries and failed. we must make a new one
