Moral foundation in culture or anything else collective :). False.
Anything collective is a limitation of freedom and individuality. Think about it.
If something in nature is not a single body, it is supposed to operate individually.
Collectyvism goes against nature.
Evolution, progress are processes that transform existing bodies into new kinds of bodies through pain, and no existing body lives to witness the new end-body that is then integrated in the new version of nature.
Do you want to live in the painful transformation for hell knows why, or do you want to live in the existing painless nature?
The only kind of collectyvism that is in line with the existing nature is a "friendship" between a man and a wild cat. You can meet sometimes with no advance promisses, you can stroke each other then, you can happen to live nearby sometimes if you both choose so, you can admire each other's looks, sounds, demonstrate your game, even share sometimes. You cannot expect anything, though. Cannot plan. Cannot be in debt. Cannot make compromises.
Basically, if your culture says so much as that you cannot walk naked in public, it is bad through and through. If it says there is one god... let's not even go there. If your culture says you should feel anything other than respect to those living differently and not asking anything of you, it is ultra bad. All cultures in the world today are ultra bad. With Theravada buddhist ones being still the least bad of them.
