I have a similar issue, DDD, being tall with a Buddha belly doesn’t help either 😅.
I got an inversion table and that helps relieve the pressure, that’s about the extent I am willing to go. When I am dealing with my back, letting someone start cracking and twisting me does not sound like a good solution, one wrong move and you’re paralyzed. Same reason I won’t go under the knife to have my disks fused.
I do have a trick that may help you, it got me through many days at work when I didn’t think I could stay standing. Take a tennis ball and put it between you and a wall and start moving up and down until you get it in the right position, then just start going up and down. It’s not a permanent fix but it may get you through those embarrassing moments.

In the event he was pretty good, he told me that all that painful origami stuff wouldn't help, it was quite simple realignment of the pelvis, now I have to deal with the inflammation around the entire bottom 5 vertebrae. It definitely ain't fun. Every time it goes atm is moving from sitting to standing, its a nightmare tbh, as it keeps me nervous about every movement.
