The "initial" reason he was detained was for crowding, obstructing, or incommoding as well as disrupting Congressional proceedings. Under federal law, it is illegal to stage a protest or disrupt the "peaceful conduct of government business" inside the Capitol or its office buildings. It had nothing to do with what he said. He could have stormed in and started yelling that Barney isn’t purple. He still would’ve been arrested. Flash is simply bias and dishonest. He doesn’t simply report. He editorializes. He’s done this over and over again. U.S. Code § 5104 specifically governs "Unlawful Activities" on Capitol Grounds. • Section (e)(2)(D) prohibits anyone from uttering "loud, threatening, or abusive language" or engaging in "disorderly or disruptive conduct" with the intent to "impede, disrupt, or disturb the orderly conduct of a session of Congress." He got his arm broke because he didn’t comply with police and resisted arrest. Bad things happen when you don’t comply with law-enforcement. You would think that we would have learned this over the last several months given ICE incidents. But people still think they don’t have to explicitly listen to law-enforcement.
