Impressive build, unexpected ending.

i'm very interested in steam engines because they require no electronics, here on this island, for example, one could be used to power a cable lift to carry heavy stuff up the steep hills
the most retarded shit i have ever seen and no thank you for wasting 5 minutes of my life
MUTED
@Low Information Voter
I had an older friend who built a miniature steam train with a working engine. It was a little larger than a coke can. Such a showoff...
this is the problem with old people. they have skills but what the employers look for is somebody who is teachable.
nobody needs people with skills from 50 years ago. businesses need people with skills of tomorrow.
fucking hate old people who build all this useless garbage. they afflict DIY speaker building as well.
in many cases they are also the moderators on forums and ban people like me who want to use latest technology.
think about it - the stuff we think of as "high tech" like stealth bombers - was produced half a century ago.
think about how far back in time it was CONCEIVED then engineered, then prototypes built etc.
and these old farts are building steam trains in the middle of the 21st century.
what useless garbage - they should all be turned into soap.
design and build something next gen or at least next level or kill yourself.
you know NOSTR devs even though they are retarded bitcoiners at least they are building something NEW
what they are building objectively has value so i respect that
zero respect for all these model train subhumans
the whole island of Japan is of course these old subhumans that build useless trinkets for other old people in America and Europe to buy
literally all of the speakers made in Japan are purchased by like 80 year olds in US and Europe
zero innovation. just tinkering.
America cannot build the Saturn V any more.
Do you have any idea how many things Australia cannot build any more?
On the index of economic complexity, AU has dropped from 30-somethingth place in my childhood to 119th, now.
Burkina Faso now has a more developed economy than Australia. Burkina Faso, formerly known as Upper Volta, and famous mostly for its red-bereted dictator.
If we piss off China, we'll be lucky to build steam trains. More likely horses, but only if some old guy still knows how to make saddles...
this is why i actually support H1B visa ideas of Elon and Trump
yes we can educate our own kids but it will take 10 years and we're losing to China NOW
we deliberately dumbed our kids down by making them sit in classrooms with retarded niggers and dumbing the curriculum down to what those Niggers could handle, which is basically NOTHING
yes if we simply separated retarded kids from the gifted and pushed those gifted kids like they push kids in Chinese schools ( or even in old Soviet schools ) we could return to our former shape of being the leaders of the world but this would require having the right leadership in place not for a single point in time but for several decades straight ...
with H1B we can undo some of the damage our education system has done within MONTHS
yes some of you shitheads will become unemployable but it's a small price to pay for staying competitive with China
IDK about the USA's problems, but whether AU imports geniuses or fools neither will be able to do much when any innovation requires signoff from a dozen BANANA Karens with elite educations, high-paying govt jobs, and zero curiosity or accountability for outcomes...
That's cool af. Is it me, or has there been a small RC car renaissance past couple years? Not sure what changed, but see more of them around with serious hobbyists, and even a track or two popped up where people can go to race them. Don't remember this being a thing earlier, yet nothing new in the tech used for rc cars that I know of, to explain the apparent swell of interest
That's sad.
