I made this simple web page a few weeks back to easily monitor the bitcoin price as we waited for 100K. It doesn't do anything special. No charts. No candles. No lines. It's just a number. It refreshes the price from Coinbase every 5 seconds. Now that we hit 100K, it probably won't get much use, but feel free to use it.

For desktop? Honestly if you're brand new to Bitcoin, I'd just tell you to use Strike if it's available to you. You can easily stack, easily send and receive zaps too. You just scan the invoice on your phone when you're on your desktop.
This is now a proper PWA. If you refresh and reload the web page, you'll be able to "install" it in your desktop or mobile device.

can I get help from someone, on where should I purchase bitcoins? what App?
Strike is so easy to use as I’ve used it to buy Bitcoin and then send sats to my Alby wallet. I imagine it’s easy to use for buying stuff with too.
Hmmm. I always thought the "/" indicated a ratio. i.e. 101,000 USD / 1 BTC. or 0.0000099 BTC / 1 USD. But, ultimately, I'm happy to defer. I still love it. 😍
