The constitutional republic was lost with Lincoln. He imposed a federal will upon the states at the end of the civil war. You can trace the start of the bureacratic state to him up through Woodrow Wilson.

Agree. I don’t think the constitution has mattered for a long time. You could say a lot of shit going down now is unconstitutional.
