Thanks for your take. But for me this is far away from UNIX-philosophy.
I rather try to do superposition where it can work. Take a problem, finde the cause and insert a fitting solution. With systemd, I do not really understand the whole problem. I would really love a visualisation, on what replaces the whole systemd in void linux for example.
something like:
arch uses systemd
void uses runit, package... for deamons, package ... for this part of systemd and so on
To understand what parts could be more UNIX-like than the implementation of systemd.
