Awesome 🤩 I love seen #Nostr spreading. Really excited for the social function around podcasts and being able to connect to others who like the same podcasts I do.
I can't seem to login using Amber. I have given fountain permissions. I get a popup saying that it was successful, but it still asks to connect a Nostr account on the home screen, and if I try to go to my profile.

I created Fountain account and linked it to Nostr pubkey. Should my nostr profile get imported? No changes on fountain hut it says linked.

I'm missing an option to connect a wallet using Nostr Wallet Connect.
When will android version be available on fdroid or obtainium?
I had to check a few times for the update on Play Store but it appeared eventually. I do think there should be a better way to log in than to paste ones Nostr private key...
Are there any plans to open source fountain?
Looking forward to being able to log in directly on Browser via Nostr npub. Looks like that is not available yet.

I installed fountain, connected it to my nostr address. Attempted to import my podcast subscriptions via OPML. It seemed to work. Once. I went off to do something else and did not test it. When I reopened fountain my library was empty. Further attempts to import failed.
My device runs GrapheneOS. I see some refererence in the FAQs to certain functions not working on GrapheneOS.

I'm getting the same, I believe.
I click Import Nostr Key, the Connect via Android Signer, grant all permissions in Amber, it says connection successful, but then the top "Nostr Keypair Not Found" message shows up again 😕
Plus, my avatar doesn't show up, although it has my npub.

I get the feeling they want to lock you into their wallet so they can skim transaction fees off the top.
Gotta pay for the platform somehow I guess. Hosting isn't cheap.
Biggest pet peeve so far, that isn't Nostr related.

I see what you're doing and it looks neat but I'm not actually going to use it. Maybe I'm a minority, but that seems to be changing. You can add all the features you want, but it won't make a difference to people like me.

Hey. Are you aware that the back button on android now closes the app on every screen?
All these flaws of fountain are realy getting on the nerves. I think i would be better of if writing to pocketcasts to support boost. Both apps are closed source and basic functions work very stable on pocketcasts. At least skipping and offline listening.
Why do you need to collect personal info in the app?

Will Foutain be downloadable with Obtainium or available on F-droid? I don't want to use it from Google.
My thoughts aswell unfortunately. Looks cool but will stick with AntennaPod for now.
