when you read a book or talking to a friend, you are thinking non-linearly. You remember the beginning of the book or conversation while trying to think about what might happen next in the context of the current page. when you scroll posts and images everything is linear and disconnected from prior events. your brain's context window is only a few seconds when scrolling. Thanks for sharing, going to check this book out. This resonated with me. I often run in the woods to clear my head - now I find my mind racing faster than my legs. Really hard to turn of.
