I've been listening to yesterdays debate the first 70 minutes...but uff...3 hours...long... is quite a bit of my lifetime...and I just don't understand the points Adam tries to make, when he talks in circles...Will see if I tune in today. Thanks for your effort nostr:npub10vlhsqm4qar0g42p8g3plqyktmktd8hnprew45w638xzezgja95qapsp42 ! Really appreciate you translating into a language, so a normie can understand.

I agree with your pushback on the repetitive csam argument. Though I do agree with them that it's a valid point, the bsv example shouldn't be dismissed. In the end my decision to be on Knots side is based on this: Core has demonstrated too much questionable behaviour. This while I also disagree with Core's changes itself (as I think was stated by you before; why not 160 bytes first and see what results this has). On top of that they completely ignored a fair chunk of their (ex) users' input. Even if we hypothetically assume they are correct on the technical side, their method of operation resulted in me never trusting the core brand again.

Oooh now I am tempted to listen 😁. My to do list! I enjoyed your segment. And was honestly surprised at how scattered and weak Adam's positions sounded. He has been the best core (leaning) advocate in my mind so far, but the arguments are esoteric and disconnected. I have a lot of issues with both sides of this argument, but one overarching question I am never satisfied with is simply: Why nearly zero compromise from core on this? Why 100k. Why pick this hill to die on?

Adam really did not adequately support the core side yesterday. I really wanted to understand the core viewpoint. His statements seemed off point and meandering. Now I listen to Luke and Mechanic and it seems obvious. Maybe I have some severe confirmation bias. But I do not think so because I had no motivation to choose to run knots aside from believing Bitcoin is a decentralized monetary network that I want to remain resilient and functional. Tone is trying to apply pressure with the right questions but the answers only confirm for me that I made the right choice switching to knots at least for now.
