All good on my side

Pls double check the deep dive page, seems to be down? 👀

Bitkey
Deep Dive
Ok finally loaded. Maybe it needed some vibe chanting to wake it up
Yesssssss
Now imagine BIP-85 on top so we could derive seeds from it for lighting wallets, nostr etc.
Works for me

Nice; now add a way to have two Bitkey wallets on one phone !!!
Available everywhere or limited to…
Bitkey resolves one of the top complaints: inability to verify transactions on the device directly.

This shouldn't even be pushed by old school bitcoiners. They should know better no seed phrase
O g's have lost the ball.

No deep dive for me, apparently 😄

it's supposed to send you to a PDF whitepaper, so check your browser settings, perhaps your browser is blocking the pop-up
massive, love to see it
New?! Do I need to purchase a new one?
Block delivering these days!!
Great change!!
Exactly this. Let’s create a trustless money and store its key on someone else’s platform. What am I missing here?
Will never just trust me bro
Not your keys, not your coin.
🔥nice
And it has a screen

“Trust me, bro…I won’t turn over your user data to Israel/biden and then start bluesky liberal Israel first twitter replacement” - Jack Dorsey
Naw, I’m good. You turned my info over to Israel first Biden DoJ when you owned twitter. I prefer you didn’t hand my keys over to the current and next Israel first DoJ.

Nah.
Nice!
Aren’t we still Israel first?
@jack We also really need the app to support proper localization. Right now, it’s hard to recommend it to others who aren’t comfortable using it in English.
One of the main strengths of the app is its ease of use—but that advantage is largely lost if users can’t navigate it in their native language. A well-done translation would make a huge difference in accessibility and overall user experience, and would likely help you reach a much broader audience. This shouldn’t be hard in the age of AI….
We love our 0% screen bitkeys lol
We’ve never stopped. #MIGA

still pushing the no seed phrase 🤨
Pretty nice!
Self custody is the way.
Hello bitkey where have you been all my life
The engineering behind Bitkey is impressive. Self-custody is the final boss for financial freedom. Great work!.
The text contradicts the video ;) 100% more is twice as much than before, right? Anyway, lack of a screen was the deal breaker for us on the initial Bitkey, putting it into the verdict "no interface to approve transactions". With a screen that should not be the case anymore.

Yup. Same camp as Slop and Adam “takes” Back (shots).
Dang it!
I need one 1️⃣
You NEED opt in user seed storage.
Bury it, don’t make it default but make it available.
You know it shouldn’t be seedless. By default is fine but make it available.
Just be aware that if you intend on linking it with cash app, they have a penchant for suspending accounts for purchasing federally legal products (like kratom or kava) and claim it is a violation of the TOS. Ive used cash app for many years, and bought my girlfriend some kratom and then they cancelled my account, bounced my tax refund checks, and refuse to budge on the appeal.
Moral of the story: buy a coldcard q and use robosats instead. It's a shame, since Block is doing great work on the bitcoin front, you just need their permission...
In what terms did the closure of your Cash App account affect your keys on bitkey? I understand your frustration, but isn’t this rather a critique on Cash App?
Are there any plans to add lightning?
Certainly could be the phone’s key which would simplify recovery options if your hardware wasn’t handy. I like the other two factors (vendor and hardware) the way they are. But I agree with your premise for the phone key.
