Three mental shifts that vastly improved my quality of life. 1. Making peace with the fact that the world is extremely fucked up and all you can do is what you can, where you are, with what you have available to you. 2. Finding pleasure and enjoyment in the ordinary, the mundane and the everyday. 3. Embracing the process of achieving health, wealth and happiness. Knowing that each is a permanent and life long journey with no end destination.

Absolutely consign all of this. Also subset of #1 - Seek local change. Create and foster a strong local community and work to improve the lives of your family, friends, and neighbors (in that order). Don’t stress about the world or national politics, it’s beyond your input.

Nothing lasts forever my friend 🧡
I say this with all due respect. The pursuit of health, wealth and happiness won’t bring you contentment and peace. There’s no end to get to. Just the fact of pursuing it is an endless cycle. When do you have enough health? When is money enough? When is happiness sustained?

I tried to follow your advice and immediately put this cucumber in my pants and took a picture Am I doing it right?? #foodstr #growstr
🤝 what I’m hearing 1. Acceptance and agency 2. Present moment awareness 3. growth mindset in key areas of life. The whole of these mental shifts are greater than the sum of their parts as they work with each other to build a strong foundation. Curious how did you come upon these shifts? Key realizations/ insights
I get that. For me it was when I discovered I was the main cause of my suffering, got there by getting bashed around by so called life as well 😂
There’s no such thing as too much of any of these. In regards to health entropy and the environment are constantly conspiring to steal your health. You must resist until you finally succumb. In regards to money it’s not for me, I am happy with what I have now. That said I have four children and assuming they have four children that’s 17 people I consider myself directly responsible for. I must provide for them. In regards to happiness, you achieve happiness when you learn to make yourself happy. Some people can do it when they’re young. Unfortunately for me I think I’m on a lifelong quest with that one, but it’s heading in the right direction.
